Therm Process 2023 – After Show Report
We were proud to have exhibited at Therm Process in Düsseldorf during the second week of June.
The show attendance was excellent with queues of visitors waiting to come in every morning. We received a lot of high-quality enquiries and met face to face with existing and new suppliers. This always enables you to discuss requirements clearly, in more detail.
It was interesting to see the number of exhibitors that had come particularly from China and India.
There were several halls with exhibitors from industries that we have not traditionally dealt with. However, we were approached by them to talk about high temperature production issues which products like our Super Ox and HP2000 were able to solve.
Topics like energy efficiency, gas control to minimise waste and data management were always high on the list. Adherence to NADCAP, AMS2750 and CQI9 are always on the agenda, and we have made appointments to provide gap analysis to several companies.
We found visitors coming to the show looking for solutions to process issues. Where we were unable to help with current products, it gave us the opportunity to look at developing new products in the future to provide an answer.
Meeting overseas colleagues both at the show and in the evening, cannot be undervalued. We discussed the challenges and opportunities we face in different countries. We always support each other and there is always a genuine feeling of friendship during these events.
This show is a significant investment when adding travel, accommodation, entertaining, etc into account. Having said that, the general feeling was that this was a successful, worthwhile show and would be very interested to attend again in four years.
