Description
The SSi CeraGold probe shares the SSi Gold Probe’s design except for one key feature: a diffused ceramic coating gives the oxygen probe resistance to high temperature and aggressive atmospheres. The patented diffused ceramic coating gives protection to the RA330 alloy sheath against temperature and carbon erosion (also known as green rot).
It also reduces the catalysis effect between nickel and methane that occurs in many oxygen probes.
- Furnace users with temperatures > 950°C and carbon potential > 1.25 %CP will experience the most significant gain in probe life.
- Easily rebuildable: just as with the Gold Probe, every oxygen sensor will eventually degrade, but the CeraGold and Gold Probe is engineered to be rebuilt at low cost and short notice.
