SSi SGA H2O2 Sensor for Nitriding and Nitrocarburising
The H2/O2 sensor is designed for easy installation on horizontal and vertical nitriding furnaces to provide a highly repeatable electronic alternative to the burette method of analysing a nitriding atmosphere. It measures hydrogen using the SSi thermal conductivity sensor and uses an external O2 reading to calculate all nitriding variables: H2%, DA%, Kn, Kc, pO etc. These values are then communicated to the SSi 9215 or an external PLC or SCADA system. The sensor is designed to be mounted directly to the top of a furnace and does not require any additional sample lines or pumps to operate.
